Download from inside a collection

Why can we not download from inside a collection. You’re there looking at the images, maybe you want to download several of them. But there’s not download button. Current workflow: You double click to open up a collection, then find the image you want to download. Count from the top or bottom of the column so you can find it again. Close the collection. Now on the canvas find the collection you were just looking through and count the same number of images so you can find the image you were looking at. Next, drag that image out onto the canvas. Download it. Delete the copy that’s on the canvas. That’s for just one image. If you want to download a second image you have to do it all over again. Boy that’s a lot of work when you could have just clicked a download button right inside the collection page. If there’s a different method that I’m not aware of I’d be happy to use it.

Update Flipbook

Flipbook is one of the coolest models out there. Nothing else can evolve an image the way it can. And it has a very creative take on the images it creates. But it suffers from hallucinations, such as too many fingers or partial faces. If you could please give it an update it would be much appreciated. It would also be great if the animations could be smoother and the movement faster. Rendering more frames per second (as an option) would take care of the smoother part and might even help with the faster motion part. It would also be cool if a voice audio file could be added (like the voice stem from a song) so it could do lip sync while it was moving, or anyother way to get more expression out of the people in the pictures. Thanks!

Bug when creating your first Cuts project.

As my first Cuts project I had no media in the Editor library. (I really wanted to just add a bunch of media and THEN make a Cuts project but I couldn’t figure out how to upload media directly. Is that possible?) So then I clicked on Beat Sync Batch workflow and it opened the Upload Media window and asked for a sound. So I picked a 3 minute music file. Once it finished thinking for a while…. nothing happened. Just put me back at the upload a sound window. Tried a few more times and still nothing. Then I tried a 5 MB audio file instead of a 50 MB file and got the mini audio editor window. So I don’t know if this bug is only for your first project, or if it was just because the file size of the audio was too large, or because I didn’t have any Media in the Editor library, or something else. If it was a file size issue it would be nice to get feedback. Thanks!

Luvin' the canvas workflow!

I have to say that when I first saw the canvas UI I was lost and didn’t like it. Now that I’ve worked with it for a bit I love it. When working through an AI project it’s very easy to end up with many many steps and many failed attempts. Typically you just put all the attempts into a folder and hope you remember what they are at a later date. But the Kaiber canvas UI is a really elegant way to keep all your steps and attempts right out in front of you. You can see what you’ve worked on and the steps you took to get there. Everything that you did is visually waiting at your fingertips to be enhanced or reused on some other process. Being able to take any image on the canvas and use it as input for any flow that needs it is awesome. It’s so fast. It’s just drag and drop - done. Between using the scroll wheel to zoom and using the hand to drag the canvas it’s a very fast, very interactive and no-nonsense way to move through a project. Thanks Kaiber team for the work you’ve done in creating a really great UI!

Extending an image

Another feature request for real jobs in real situations. Sometime you let the AI go and it comes up with a really cool image. But the subject ends up smack in the center of the image so you need to move it over and then extend the part of the image that is now blank. Or maybe you started creating a vertical image and love it so now you want to turn it into a horizontal image by extending the sides instead of cropping off the top and bottom. This is another tool with a thousand uses. Extending an image would be a great feature to have because without it you hit a brick wall. Regenerating an image for a different aspect ratio never gives you the same result.

Loose painting to define areas of an image.

Oftentimes when creating an illustration you are working with various requirements. For instance you have to leave room for a headline or the client’s product, or you have two figures fighting and want their swords to cross in just a certain way. Blocking-in the illustration lets you paint a broad stroke or lump of color for each of the elements in your prompt. Each element gets a different color and then you can prompt with or tags to let the AI know where the elements go in the prompt. This is a really useful tool and takes AI from “hoping you get something useful” to creating an image that fits a requirement. All jobs have requirements.
